| A serious and thought provoking examination of race relations in the US, COLOR OF JUSTICE asks questions that few other films have in recent years. In it, four black youths carjack a woman, and, in the process, end up killing her. This seemingly open and shut case becomes a media circus when an activist latches onto the case, and loudly suggests that society is responsible for the young men`s actions, and that the youths are the real victims. So, the question of race becomes the focus of attention at the young men`s trial, instead of their crimes. This understandably outrages the victim`s husband, and lead him to take matters into his own hands. |
