This mid-1980s anime feature focuses on a chrome-bodied android, Antoinette, whose altruistic programming seems to give her a heart of flesh. As she searches for the true meaning of humanity, she encouters the planetary governor. He, however, seems less interested in her wiles than in the possible power that may lie in the ruins of an ancient society.
