Created by renowned anime artist Matsumoto Leiji, ARCADIA OF MY YOUTH is the feature-length prequel to his Space Pirate Captain Harlock television series. The film introduces the series` legendary Captain Harlock and his struggle to liberate Earth from its occupation by an evil alien empire, drawing parallels to the post-WWII occupation of Japan.
